The Kaplan-Meier survival functions for the time period 30 days after the onset of EVD symptoms is presented for suspected, probable, or confirmed EVD cases. Survival by clinical symptoms of fever, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, and unexplained bleeding are presented as those with the symptom (orange) compared to those without the symptom (blue). The equality of survival functions assessed by log-rank tests was significantly different for those with fever (P < 0.001), nausea/vomiting (P > 0.001), diarrhea (P < 0.001), and unexplained bleeding (P = 0.009)
